Mike joined A&G in 2012, bringing decades of experience advising clients on complex real estate matters. His core areas of expertise include real estate advisory, property sales, and lease mitigation, and over the course of his career he has generated more than $2 billion in sales proceeds and delivered approximately $1 billion in occupancy cost savings for clients.
Mike has sold thousands of leases and fee-owned properties across virtually every real estate sector, representing both healthy and distressed companies. His transaction experience spans retail properties, office buildings, residential assets, warehouse and distribution centers, hotels, and highly specialized or difficult-to-value assets, including mulch farms and greenhouses.
Widely regarded as a “go-to” advisor for receivers and trustees, Mike has designed, managed, and executed some of the most active auctions and sales processes in the country.
His client experience includes national brands such as Rite Aid, Party City, Toys “R” Us, Ascena, and Bed Bath & Beyond, among many others.
Prior to joining A&G, Mike served as Managing Director at DJM Realty and has specialized in real estate dispositions, lease negotiations, and bankruptcy-related sales since 1993.
Based in New York, Mike is the former President of the Turnaround Management Association’s Long Island Chapter and has also served as an expert witness in real estate matters.
